Case Study: How eBay Measures Resiliency Success and Quantifies the Qualitative
As resiliency professionals, our goal is to achieve “readiness.” However, how well do we actually measure readiness, and what are the metrics that we use? Oftentimes, our KPIs include things like the number of BIAs/BCPs/DRPs, a score on a maturity model, or exercise results. While these can all be important indicators, they do not always provide an accurate measurement of actual readiness. In this presentation, we will hear how eBay developed ways to identify and measure true engagement and readiness – the ability to effectively respond to a disruption – and not just their ability to write plans or carry out exercises.
