Jeff Dato

Jeff Dato is Head of Regional Risk and Reputation (Americas) for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) where he serves as the senior risk executive for the Americas'​ region, comprising 67% of IHG's global revenue and 75% of all hotel properties. He provides pragmatic and responsible counsel to the Americas’ Regional Operating Committee (ROC) and two Atlanta-based global functions – Global Technology and Global Sales & Marketing – ensuring appropriate guidance, support and action to enable IHG’s ability to protect its assets, stakeholders (customers, shareholders, employees, etc.), brand, and reputation. In this capacity, his role is to coordinate with global risk functions - Hotel Safety, Security & Intelligence, Risk Financing, Systems & Training and Corporate Risk - to align resources in support of the strategic and operational business objectives set forth by executive leadership. He also continues to lead the Corporate Risk function for the Americas, building and refining Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) capability and supporting the enhancement of the Business Continuity and Crisis Management programs globally, while overseeing the delivery of these services locally. The scope includes working hand-in-hand with our Legal, Corporate Communications, Information Security and Data Privacy offices to ensure appropriate programs are in place, operating effectively and, if needed, response plans are fully functional and ready to activate. Additionally he serves as the President of IHG's US captive insurance company, Six Continents Hotels Insurance Company (SCHIC).

Randy Jouben

Randy F. Jouben, CBCP, MBCI, ARM, AIC, AINS, CRMP, most recently served as the Director, Risk Management at Five Guys Enterprises, LLC headquartered in Lorton, VA. He is responsible for leading the mission of protecting the tangible and intangible elements of the organization. Jouben has a diverse risk management background, with more than 25 years of experience spanning from working for insurance companies (such as Prudential and American International Group) to consulting and risk management positions in prominent non-profits (such as the American Red Cross and the Catholic Diocese of Arlington).

Jouben is also involved in many professional organizations, including the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), where he is on the local Chapter Board of Directors. He is a member of the National Standards & Practice Committee, and he serves as Chairman of the Professional Development Committee for DRI International.

Five Guys Enterprises LLC, is a family-owned and operated franchise restaurant group that focuses on serving high-quality burgers and fries in a clean, no frills atmosphere. Five Guys was established in 1986 in Arlington, VA and currently operate more than 160 company-owned locations. In 2003, Five Guys opened its first franchise location, and with the help of loyal franchisees, Five Guys has expanded from five to more than 800 locations nationwide and is one of the fastest growing quick-serve restaurants.

Anthony Pizzitola

Anthony Pizzitola, MBCP, MBCI, CFM, MBA is a Facilities and Disaster Recovery Professional. He recently completed a Hurricane Response Plan and 16 Emergency Disaster Response Plans for ExxonMobil’s new 385 acre campus in Spring, TX. A 19 year facilities veteran of a Fortune 200 company, his interests in disaster preparedness and recovery generated from being one of the first on the ground after Katrina performing facility assessments and to determine if preparatory measures salvaged structures in the hurricane’s destructive path. His enhanced preparations for Hurricanes Gustav and Ike saved numerous structures which opened within 2 hours of regaining power. His increased interest in disaster recovery led him to acquire certifications in disaster recovery.

An MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, he holds three distinctive certifications: Master Business Continuity Profession Professional with the Disaster Recovery Institute International, Certified Member of the Business Continuity Institute in the UK, and Certified Facility Manager with the International Facility Management Association He is the only professional internationally to hold these three distinguished certifications.

Passionate in his facilities and disaster practice, he has published 40 international articles in numerous publications. He has been interviewed by the Houston Chronicle, Fox News, National Public Radio, Buildings Magazine and Shop Talk Evolution with Grace Daly. He has received awards from the Facility Management Journal and Restaurant Facility Business. He is also a Subject Matter Expert on Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity with IFMA.
