Continuity Beyond Compliance

Speaker: Vladimir Lodkin, State Street

Tuesday, March 8, 2:15 pm - 3:15 pm

In recent years, the financial services industry has been under increased scrutiny by the regulators and clients worldwide. With the inherent risks and complexity of our business coupled with emerging threats, such a cyber and third party risk, it is increasingly important to look beyond just having a standard business continuity and disaster recovery program and enforcing compliance.

This presentation explores how State Street evolves its continuity program to address these new challenges by incorporating a more risk-focused approach in addition to compliance. We will discuss the significance of building strong and effective relationships with regulators and internal audit, collaborating across internal divisions and business lines, and embedding a continuity mindset into everyday business operations and decisions.
